Coombs View cottages each have their own character and charm in the Coombs View courtyard set in local sandstone barn conversions. Each cottage is renovated and maintained to high standards.
Five minutes off the A6 and twenty minutes from the M6 we are ideally placed for exploration of the Scottish Borders, the Western Coast line, Northumbria, as well as Lake Ullswater and the Northern Fells. Located in the heart of Cumbria, Coombs View makes a great base to explore and enjoy Cumbria and all it has to offer.
Situated mid-way between the market town of Penrith and the Cathedral border city of Carlisle we are only 45 minutes from the centre of the Lake District, 2 hours from Glasgow, Edinburgh and Manchester and 1 ½ hours from Newcastle - not too far to down tools and enjoy a peaceful break away from city life!
